Peer Fusion Storage Cluster Gateway Software

The Cluster Gateway software bridges the client and cluster networks to allow client applications access to the peer data:

  • Service commands from the Supra-Cluster™ Gateway:
    • Systems calls (i.e. open, read, write, close, stat, etc.)
    • Namespace requests (i.e. symlink, link, rename, unlink, etc.)
    • Heal files, directories, and links.
  • Service requests from Ingest Clients:
    • Systems calls (i.e. open, read, write, close, stat, etc.)
    • Namespace requests (i.e. symlink, link, rename, unlink, etc.)

A Peer Fusion Cluster is a Tightly Integrated Group of Storage Peers.

Gateways provide a VFS interface and move data between the Client LAN and the Cluster LAN.
